The 325 offer from OTB has some special circumstances. He is only willing to leave that offer till the end of the day, so if I don't get any offers considerably better by the end of today I am going to have to go with his offer.
So if any of you were planning on waiting till last minute, tonight will be last minute.

It was, but OTB made me an offer that if I sell him the cue tonight for 325, and I do well in vegas I can purchase it back from it at a very reasonable mark up.
This cue is worth way more than 325 and if I cant get a offer above 400 then its just not worth it for me to let it go till thursday.

I'm confused.. Is this an offer thread or an on bid thread selling to highest bidder tonight at midnight like an auction?
Supposed to run until Midnight tonight from days ago.. Bidding starts.. Gets to 280 then someone offers to buy at 325 if no others go higher by the end of that night.
Someone goes 340, which is higher than 325, but the number wasn't high enough for you? So you were gonna sell at 325 but now that guy didnt respond..
So now it runs until midnight tonight again? Do I have this right? lol

Ok, I tried to do something a little different to get people to actually make some offers on a cue. I had it up for 500 OR BEST OFFER and not a single person even made an offer. So I tried it this way. I never claimed to be a selling genius.
Someone made me an offer of 325 with the stipulation that if I did well in vegas he would sell it back to me for 350. Very reasonable offer, but I figured if I could get a little closer to what I wanted for it then I would just outright sell it. I told the person that offered me the 325 how I felt, and he told me I couldn't wait, he said he would give me till the end of the day.
So now I am in a predicament, do I just take the 325$ and risk not buying it back, cause 325 for this cue is god damn robbery. Or do I say no thank you to the offer and risk that the best offer I am going to get is 360. 35 dollars, it would be more worth it to just buy it back at $350.
This morning I PM'ed both people that offered me the 325 and 340 and said who ever gets back to me gets it. Neither of them responded. I tried to stay by my word that at midnight last night it was final, but neither who made the offer would get back to me.
So what would you have me do? Start a whole new thread and look even more stupid than I do now?

Ok, well I am about to leave for my friends birthday party. Clearly this idea failed, and I guess I am just a big retard. Thank you nice gentlemen for making a guy feel really stupid. I hope you all feel better about yourselves for it. I am not saying I didn't make any mistakes, or that I did this the right way, but I was nothing but nice to everyone who has made offers or asked any questions, not sure why some of you have to be condescending and rude.
All in all, if you have a REAL offer to make me, and you are SERIOUS about buying this cue within the next couple days please feel free to call or text me.

I don't see anything wrong with running a cue sale as best offer by xyz time, and posting the offers as you go. It is a good way to get action really.
But to vary away from the set time is a felony act. Just play by the same rules you set ...and tell those who try to buy there way past the rules that you cant do that. you could always say that any offer over xyz takes it. Sort of a buy it now clause.
Just my free opinion and worth every cent!
