It says Ltd on the butt, which means it was made as one of a small batch of 12. This should be a LTD or SH series cue (they are both marked Ltd). However, like garczar, I’ve never seen this exact design before.

Good luck with the identification.

Please post the ID once known. I would be curious to know

The Schön cues website has a "repair" section where you pay $20 for cue ID. I doubt they will respond, unless you go that route.

I assume you mean one of 12 of that particular LTD model, as there are tons of LTD models out there...ive seen 150 different LTD cues and theres more than that. Ive never heard of them making 12 of each and the fact several websites have them seems like theyre plentiful. Thats one downside with these companies, theyll do slight variations of cues and just by changing an inlay in the buttsleeve it becomes an entirely different model.

I have seen this cue before, ill find the model again and post it

On a side note, im not sure if he does it but Scott at proficient might be able to identify cues when the actual maker cannot be reached. Theyve probably refinished more cues from more cuemakers than any 10 people out there.

It used to be 12 of each til around '12-'13 when that was raised to 25 each.

Ok that makes more sense, I have been selling Schons for a friend lately and the LTD cues are the hardest to ID it seems like. The older ones there doesnt seem to be many but some of the newer models are out there like halloween candy :D

Yes, I meant 12 cues of that specific design/model. Apologies that I could have been more clear

I have access to a database of >2500 Schon photos but nothing on this one. The only thing I can safely say is that it is one of the earliest LTDs because of the font used.
