I did search and was curious if anyone knows what difference there is between a standard Schon shaft and a standard Pechauer shaft.
I did some search and found how most like Schon’s standard shaft but not really much at all on the Pechauer shaft.
I wish is could try these two next to each other.
I have hit with a Pechauer but it had a 314-2 shaft.
The Schon I hit with was turned down to 12.5mm.
So my past experience is not 100% accurate.
I tried emailing Schon to get information on their taper, but that was a week ago and I still have not heard anything back. I know that Pechauer has a Pro taper. I believe this might be hard to compare these two. But if you have tried them what do you think.
Long story short I can get either once of these cues for the same cost. The Pechauer has some inlays and the Schon is more if a plane Jane style. Regardless they cost they both are fine by me. If it matters the Pechauer is from the Pro Series. Thanks for the input.
