Schon r-5

ONTHEBREAK

Still Learning!!!
Silver Member
I have access to a Schon r-5 in mint condition with a decent smooth black leather wrap installed. I have no idea what it's worth so i am not gonna post a price here. I will ask that some of you who may be interested send me a price you'd be willing to pay for a mint r-5. And I will guarantee satisfaction on it. the downfalls up front are that the seem on the leather wrap is visible...not tacky looking just visible. The Other is no original shaft, it has an older z shaft with no markings as far as emblems etc... Has a very and i mean very minimal taper roll. Just letting everyone know up front. Please let me know if anybody is interested. By the way the ebony in this cue is really dark and the veneers are awesome.

R-5

FYI

I sold an R-5 (with milled points) in great shape with two shaft, 8 months ago for $600.

Do you have any pics? I don't remember any vaneers on the R-5.

maybe its not an r-5

From what I am learning maybe it's not an r-5. I used www.palmercollector.com's pictures to come up with the closest thing to it. It has four ebony points with brown and money green veneers, a leather wrap and an ebony butt sleeve. The cue has the joint with the silver nickel ring. The points are definitely pantograph points and it is supposed to be around 17 or 18 years old to the owners knowledge. I will have my hands on the cue Tuesday when it will come home with me and I will post pictures of it. Really a super clean cue. Any knowlege or insight that anybody can provide would be appreciated.

Why don't you get a pic of the cue before posting? The majority of the Runde Schons had dash rings.

and some didn't

I have owned a couple of Runde era Schon's that didn't you know ... Didn't realize my post would offend you it was meant as a feeler. Thanks for your "insight"
