Can one of you Schon folks help me ID this cue, I know it's an old Runde, has nice sharp points, all white is (ok, appears to be a pinkish ivory)
My friend asked me to sell this for him, but I believe he is over priced....so, someone give me an idea of what I are working with.
Cue has two shafts, one is marked Schon 13 on the black collar the other is unmarked, can't make out the ferrule material until I clean them up. It is a played cue, but in nice shape and straight.
Anyone's help is appreciated!
Thanks,
Felt

Looks alot like an SL12 (Inlays) with sharp points. If I'm not mistaken, you can order them this way from Evan.

I agree with, *SP-49. So, was this Runde era or not? and what is it worth? Anyone help out with a Blue book value?

I am not a Schon expert, but I will share what I have been told with you, and it makes a lot of sense.

Bob Runde was a part of Schon until 1993 when Evan Clarke bought him out. From around 1990 until 1993, Bob did not do as much work on the actual construction of cues as he had prior, but he was still very involved. Evan probably did as much cue building as Bob during this sort of "transition" period. The SP series was a series of cues made in that timeframe. No one can say whether Evan or Bob actually "built" a cue during that time frame, but they are certainly Runde "era" cues. The ones with sharp points are more sought out than the CNC ones. Valuing one of them is pretty tough. I have sold a couple of nice SP series cues....market was usually around $700-1000 depending on the model, condition, etc.

For better info, pm Tate on here..he is www.palmercollector.com and is a wealth of information.
