What is the thickness of the silver on a typical Schon ring?

Thanks.

The shaft & jnt. collar have .030" rings.
Thank you, sir.

Scott <<== forgot to mention that I was talking about the joint ring, but KJ read my mind

Joint Pin

Hi Scott,
Just wanted to say that the newer SS Pins I buy from Atlas (Rolled Threaded Rod, 5/16" x 14) didn't fit in the Old Schon Brass Insert..
Old, meaning Bob Runde Era Schons.. I got caps returned because I didn't know this..
+ Check your Black Line Fiber Collar Thicknesses.. They might be the older 3/8" primary and 1/8" Back-Up thicknesses.. Just to be sure...

Scott, I remember that the Brass Inserts I buy from Atlas has to be tapped out to fit the Schons and Bill McDaniels' Joint Pins.. Just for your info.. I tried one on and it seized on the Cue's Joint Pin.. Must be the heat from friction.. Gotta wait till it cools and unthread 1/4 turn at a time, waiting about 20 seconds between tries, for the metal to cool down..
"MoonShine" Matt said he has a similar problem..

I'm sure you know why I am asking this question.
