Schon stl15 question

Not curious enough to bother Evan yet. My buddy picked up a stl15(not a pool player), we have been online looking at pics try to find another like it. I know Schon did variations of the designs.
Here is a picture, any info is appreciated.

As you can see, it has 3 little inlays between the longer ones. The middle little one does have the box around it.
 
There is a Facebook account that is dedicated to Schon cues. You should take a look

I have the same model, an STL 15, but with green boxes and veneers instead of red. (https://seyberts.com/collections/schon-cues)

Edit: BTW, Evan has passed on.
 
Do they make an STL 15? Looking at Seyberts, they make STL 15BL, STL 15GRN, STL 15PUR, and STL 15TQ, all of which have a single "little inlay" not three as the one pictured. My guess is the one pictured is not an STL 15 but cannot be certain w/o picture.

Finding a picture is difficult. We'll keep looking though 👍
 
Koinkid, an Ebay seller who buys Schons from Seybert's and trys to resell them higher on Ebay, has one red STL15 listed right now. It was on Seybert's last week...
 
And yes, your friend's cue is an early slightly varied STL15..............

Here is an STL 15 with red box around a single "little inlay". I would say three "little inlays" would not be a STL 15

He's in the grave. But He did respond when he was living. I talked to him a few times he was quick with responses.

That cue is probably something the cuemaker did out of boredom just messing around. They do it every so often. I have a stl model that has a longer handle (wrapped area by 1inch . And it makes the points in the forearm seem longer an inch longer (Yes it came from factory that way) the forearm is an inch shorter but the point inlays are normal size

Yes, they still make the STL15.

Those suffixes are Seybert's own SKU for the color of veneer.
