Schon weight bolt

Can anyone tell me where I can buy a weight bolt for a Schon.

They are a standard thread 3/8-16, however, I am uncertain of the diameter inside the butt cap, the head of a standard bolt may need to be turned down to fit.

Atlas sell these bolts andthey come with a Allen Screw to hold the bumper on.

Yes, they are the standard 3/8 x 16 thread.
Hex head, not allen. I suppose the ones Atlas sells would work.
Looks like a regular bolt.

I put an allen head bolt in and pushed the bumper in.
The Schon bumper screws onto the bolt.

If I remember correctly, I think I need an once and a half to bring it up to nineteen.

Schon uses a flat-head, slotted machine screw (3/8x16).

The hex head cap screw was used on early Joss cues.
They are both the same thread but not interchangeable
because of the head configuration.

If you have the capacity to drill & tap the head for an 8x32 screw,
you should be able to make them yourself.

They are also available from Seyberts.

Ask me silly

i HAVE THE ORIGONALS IN THE DRAWER FOR YOU MY FRIEND. i JUST BOUGHT 6 R-SERIES FRONTS,COCO BOLO WITH 1 BLK VEENER.AND BUTT PIECES. i HAVE PLANS FOR 2 CUES- ?? MARK

Thanks Mark, I sent you a PM.

And thanks to everyone else that posted a reply, I appreciate the help as always.

I have 2 Schons, one I bought used and it came with no weight bolt. If I happen to sell that one, I'd like it to be original and complete for the buyer.
