Schon Willie Hoppe Tribute

I am to blame for mitch receiving linen instead of leather
i will be refunding him the cost of the leather wrap that he wanted

along with my apology for the mistake,i offered to give him a full refund if he returned the cue,but he chose to sell it instead

as you can see the cue is very nice and the one i hit was super,

these cues are sold out now and will not be remade,so I think this is a good opportunity

Deanoc's Refund Offer.....A Classy Gesture

It's rare nowadays to see someone stand up and say I was the cause of the mistake.......Deanoc is a stand-up guy and you wouldn't expect anything less from him. His offer to refund the cue purchase amount was all that anyone could have hoped for and he admitted that the mistake on the wrap was his too.

Deanoc is a man of his word......you can do business with him on a handshake and it's as reliable as a written contract would ever be. Sounds like the cue owner wants to roll the dice and see what his cue will fetch rather than take Deanoc's offer for a full refund.

All in all, it was unfortunate the mistake with the wrap happened because the Hoppe Tribute Cue turned out beautiful. Fortunately, the cue owner had the opportunity to get his payment refunded by Deanoc but decided to take his chances selling the cue to see if he could make some money.......why else sell it vs take your refund from Deanoc and just split.

I hope his cue sells for a lot more than he paid and that would be good for Schon's overall cue appeal and the other Hoppe cue owners. Deanoc has invested a lot of hard work in getting these special Schon tribute cue projects launched.

$815.01 is what I paid. I am not looking to make a profit. I am surprised that no one is even interested. Mitch

This will be gone quickly....Very nice cue.

I'd be jumping all over it, but it would be my 3rd cue purchased this week. One more and wifey might just.....well she might kill me.

I was hoping it was still available by the time I got to the bottom of the page. I have one with the green/ white spec wrap and it's beautiful! Would've bought this one just because they are that awesome!!! Nice pick up Dustin! It won't disappoint and what a great price!!!

$100 was put in your pay pal as you requested to compensate you for your
leather wrap and an accidental $20 overpayment

i am glad your cue sold
these are great hitting cues

i am getting a few with ivory diamonds just like these but ivory
for sale now

best wishes

Sumthin' Seems Odd

If you could get all of your money back from Deanoc on a refund, why would anyone want to try selling the cue for what they paid?

You have to wait until the cue sells to get your money, you have to deal with the questions and replies, ask for Paypal fees to be paid by the buyer, get the cue ready for shipping, haul it to the Post Office or whatever carrier you select, etc. Then wait for the buyer to acknowledge recepit so Paypal releases the funds to you, and "possibly" just "possibly" deal with any buyer complaints if that were to happen.

It just seems that returning the cue to Deanoc and getting all your money refunded immediately would have happened much more expeditiously than with listing your cue for sale. There's also less hassles and and effort involved in the entire transaction when returning the cue to Deanoc for your refund.

Anyway, Deanoc's post is just what I would have expected......return the cue and he'll refund your money.........you can't ask for more than that at this point in time. If the seller truly just wants what he paid for the cue, he should return it to Deanoc for a refund. Otherwise, it sure seems like he really wants to roll the dice on selling the cue to see if he can do better.

According to the OP,"Cue is sold pending sale for $740.01 shipping included. "Mitch
