Scorpion or Cuetec (Want To Buy)

I think you could get a lot better cue for the same price from Lucassi, Joss, etc. than either of those 2 brands.

You shouldn't feel bad

Hey, if you can play with a scorpion/cuetec and WHOOP up on guys sporting expensive cues, as you say, there is no reason to feel bad. Let me help you make them feel worse, I will trade my BRAND new Cuetec cue for your PFD. It sounds like a fair trade. I get a cue that will help me look better, and probably lose more tourneys, and you get a cue that will help you play better and win more. I get a cue with a high price tag and the inevitable loss factor, while you are provided with a new, inexpensive cue that will increase the width of your billfold from all those tournament profits. So aren't we truly making an even trade? You get the high value down the road, and I get it immediately. Of Course I will lose many tournaments now with the Drexler, so why dontcha throw in a few bucks to get my losing ways started off right. Just let me know and I will send you some pics of my basic, unexciting moneymaking cue.

I look forward to hearing from you, because you do not want this deal to pass you by.

Shoot, He can get a lot better Cue from me, for less money.
I am just waiting for an explanation of why he thinks you can spin the ball easier with a fiberglass stick.

No he can't, Rackem

My cue comes with the ability to earn money everytime you shoot with it. Therefore, I am taking a loss on the deal. Remember, he can make money shooting with MY cuetec, and I will be one of those suckers who shoots with a "$3,000" cue that can't win. So I will put aside my better judgement, and make the trade, so that while I might look "mahvelous", I will be hardly able to play well. Because if you look good, you feel good - even when you are losing. I will do this - All in the name of generosity. Its not what you receive, its what you can give back to somebody else who is less fortunate. According to SteveL Cuetecs are like money trees, only not made out of wood like a tree. More like a Walmart fake Christmas tree.

Hmmmmm..... I wonder what kind of spin and draw a Walmart Christmas tree can give me? Wouldn't that person with an expensive cue be the fool if I beat them with a fake 6' Colorado pine.

Guys, just try the test for yourself! Take about a 19 oz or 20 oz Scorpion or Cuetec and you will be amazed how it takes less effort with your stroke to move the cueball around the table. I've been shooting pool at least 15 years and hold my own very well againt amature players(Not Pro's Players okay ).

I collect Custom cues as well and have a bunch! I appreciate the quality and artistic value in the customs and not knocking them at all.

This week I'm shooting with my cuetec python.....I sent my McDermott in for factory service...
The python was my break cue until I got my stinger for Xmas. Now it is my emergency cue. It has a fiberglass shaft with a graphite truss, and it hits real stiff with a sort of a "TINK" sound.
I got the stinger becuse the cuetec has a fiberglass shaft and even though I was only breaking with it, I couldn't stand that tacky feel when it was slightly humid. I'd let the bar bangers play with it, as it seems to be nearly indestructable.
I received a cue maintenance kit from billiards911 when I got the stinger, and it had this Cue KY shaft conditioner. I used some on the cuetec and it is at least playable (to me) and the tackiness is gone. I'll shoot with it again tonight, andplay my usual weekly 8 and 9 ball tourneys. I'm really going to be missing that McDermott for the tourneys.
I would also add that I get way better cue ball action with my McD than the cuetec any day of the week. There's really no comparison...
I'll let every one know whether the cuetec turns out to be a money maker or not after the weekend.

If you put a Elk soft tip on the Cuetec or scorpion cue and you will be amazed !
This whole post was about wanting to buy a used Cuetec or Scorpion cue.

I was stating earlier that I believe for a begginer learning to move the cue ball around the table, IE : draw, side spin top english I believe it is easier to get them to get results.;) ;)

Thanks for your opinions!
