I just got my DVD and T shirt yesterday, but didn't get home till about 1 AM , I was exhausted but decided I couldn't wait to watch. Thanks Scott and Lenny and everyone involved for putting it together.
I got to appreciate that style of play when I came to visit a couple of months ago.
I thought I had a decent moving game but every time I played safe, the gentleman I was playing {Harold} would send 4 or 5 balls over to his hole empty my side out and leave me on the end rail with a huge problem.
He beat me 8-0 8 -0 and 8 to -1 and I abandoned the pitty pat game and shot balls I would never shoot before because I thought they were too dangerous.
The next few games I actually put up a decent fight and played some of the best one pocket I ever played .
I thanked him profusely and I thank you now as I already see about 15 shots I know will help my game tremendously. I have no doubt I will be able to do them even with my ability.
I am sure that most players will be able to pick up some of the getting out of the break moves that can mean 3 or 4 balls a game or more.
I hope that by the time I have mastered what I can from this DVD that #2 is available!
Good luck and best wishes to both Scott and Lenny, and thanks.

Thanks for the kind words bud and it was nice to meet you when you were in the area. I think this DVD is different then others in many aspects, the content is priceless I believe, its an A+.

The video and audio could be better IMO, we shot it in Kolby's which is dimly lit and even darker after hours with all the lights around us off. We lost clarity because of this but we wanted that real dark poolroom feel. We also got an audio hum from the equipment behind the bar and the table we used is closest to the bar. I give the audio and video production a B in my opinion but we worked with what he had.

I learned a ton of things from doing this and if I do another one I will do it at a friend's house who has a Diamond table and bright lighting. I think the trade off of that poolroom feel is not worth the loss in the video quality and it being slightly blurry. Next time as I said if there is one depending on how well this one does and the reception I get I will also use HD cameras instead of the older prosumer dv cameras. I just picked up a lower end HD camera and its better IMO then the more expensive older prosumers.

We did good for our first try and not having any experience in doing something like this, it was much tougher than we expected. If your look for a fancy Hollywood production this is not for you but if your looking to improve your one pocket game then the content is well worth it.

Well I am glad you learned something from it and most of my emails have been very positive and people enjoyed the shots. I hope to hear more reviews on it from other people who got it. See you when you get back here for a visit again and we can have a rematch too.

Thanks for your purchase of Frost vs Joyner. I appreciate your kind words once again and I am sure we will be working on Power One Pocket in 2011.

I just watched Power 1-pocket this morning for the 1st time. All I have to say is this isn't for the faint of heart :). It is consistently showing power shots that can win you the game or turn the game around, not traditional safeties/moves. And, it appears that Scott's Mom had her hands full ;).

Thank you and Scott both for taking the time to put this together. I have not seen another dvd about 1-pocket like this one, nice job. It definitely shares new ideas.

Thanks Dave. I was nervous about the reviews but when a few people told me who saw it that it really was something special and different I felt relieved along with the many emails I got. I am happy that people are learning from this video and its a success also. The game of one pocket has changed and evolved, add these shots to your arsenal or be beaten by them. ;)
