Scott Frost Vs. Efren Reyes..

Don't know what just happened....

Scott breaks and makes a ball and then rakes the balls and reracks????

Scott breaks for realz...

Scott makes a good break, puts several balls by his hole with protection.

Efren attempts to thin a ball and it looks like he misses it entirely. Not seeing a negative score put up though so maybe he did hit it.

Scott thins his four off the bottom rail back towards his hole and tries for protection but comes up short.

Efren knocks it away and tries to carom it back to his hole but leaves a possible bank for Scott.

I'm not sure if the nine(which is against the bottom rail) is blocking the bank on the four or not?

He doesn't try to make the bank and instead tries to put the four back by his hole with protection and since Efren kicks at it, I'm assuming he got the protection although it was difficult to tell from the stream angle.

Scott plays a ball down table and puts the CB in the stack.

Efren's looking at all of his options.

I think he's going to thin the eleven coming out of the stack and put the cb by Scott's pocket.

He does but doesn't leave it ideal and Scott is able to bank the three at his hole.

it bobbles out with no protection.

Efren knocks it and two other balls away from Scott's hole.

ball count is 0-0

I think this is the best way to play. Most of the time it is rack your own and people can rack high or twist it which makes it higher percentage to make a ball. One pocket is not supposed to be the game where a guy breaks and runs out on you. This is just my opinion of course and I know some like that luck factor.

commentators thinking this will be a long game.

Both players move back and forth with Scott having the slight edge moving more balls to his side and controlling the table slightly better.

This game will definitely be more of a moving game...

Sorry guys I had to work for a few minutes in the interim. Efren made a mistake and Scott got up 3-0 on ball count, then fouled and left Efren a shot but the spotted ball was in the way.

Efren missed and scott made a crossbank and a couple of more balls and then he hasjust finished running out to get tied hill hill.

Efren makes a good break.

Scott almost goes for the wrong shot but rethinks it and executes it well.

Efren leaves Scott a long shot at nothing and he's forced to play a long safety.

This shot will be crucial to winning the match.

Scott checks the rack several times, weighing his options. He's not in a good position and is being forced to execvute really well.

He ends up taking a foul trying to leave the cb in the stack while knocking a ball to the rail but the ball doesn't make it to the rail.

He leaves Efren in a tough predicament though.

score is 0 to -1.

Efren may want to take a deliberate foul here.

Efren thins the three and send the cb down table.

Scott makes a great kick leaving the cb next to the ball he kicks.

Efren must have fouled on that last shot the ball count is now -1 to -1.

This has become a nail biter for sure.

Scott executes a shot with great accuracy.

Scott knocks three balls away from Efren's pocket and controls the cb.

Efren manages to protect the last ball in front of his pocket.

Scott's looking at his options, but I think he has to thin the seven and bring the cb down two rails behind the 14 that's in front of Efren's pocket.

He elects to kick at the 14 and knocks it to his side of the table, great execution on a shot that helps him.

Efren will knock it away from Scott's side it looks like since Scott didn't get protection for it.

Efren banks it into the stack trying to knock balls to his side and sends the cb down table.

Scott's looking at a tough long cut into the stack. looks do or die to me if he goes for it.

POWER ONE POCKET I guess...

He goes for it.....

misses... but gets somewhat fortunate.

leaving only a tough cut combo for Efren or safe play...

Jaden

Efren's considering it...

Looks like Efren is going for it...

With the ball sitting in front of Scott's pocket, this is even more do or die than Scott's shot.

He misses it but hangs the ball up right in the jaws of his pocket, impossible to knock it away.

Jaden

Scott plays it safe...

Scott doesn't try to make the ball and instead makes Efren's ball and leaves the cb in his pocket locked to the titty.

Efren has to spot the ball since he was minus one.

Efren's looking closely to see if he can knock scott's ball away from his hole. He doesn't try to and instead makes it for him.

ballcount is now 0-0.
