Scott won the hot seat over Jason Klatt and beat Joven Bustamante to win it. Klatt 3rd and I believe Mike Massey, who had a great tournament, was 4th. SVB, who has won this long running bar table event several times was 5th/6th.

Streamed by POV, this race to six double elimination nine ball tournament on a bar box is a great tournament to watch. Every race is close with the alternate break format and Daniel and POV did a great job on the coverage of the event.

Scott has been knocking on the door of a rotation title and finally knocked it down. Congratulations to Scott.

I've always thought of Scott Frost as one of the very best bar table players there is! The dude can flat out swing it.

I agree Mikey. I would love to see Scott vs. Shane on a barbox, playing 8 ball in a longer set. Those guys know how to play in tight quarters.

8 ball would be interesting.

Scott got horsefked in 9 ball some years ago by Shane in a long race. I was there. Of course Scott seems to be playing really well now so I think he could compete closer that that last matchup.

2 weeks ago they played a bar box 8 ball tourney ( Chinook Winds Open) race to 7, it went hill-hill but Frost didn,t miss a ball and Shane only missed a ball. It was awesome, I believe its been posted in youtube.

Congratulations to Scott, he's playing very well at the moment. I think he's focused on trying to qualify for the Mosconi Cup team for the first time.

But you won't believe the last two games of the final, Scott up 5-4 shooting the 9 in side pocket that you would have bet your house on, and dogs it.
Then the last game they both dog it but Scott came good at the end.

John,

Agree with you. congrats to Scott. Were you there? Watched the stream from Rochester. Scott took a couple of questionable shots during the last set. Jovan showed his lack of experience. He's going to be another monster. Wish Daniel would have throttled Matayas mic. Jim was obnoxious and loud. Guess that's just Pretty Boy! Again congrats to Scott. He earned the title over a great, tough field.

Great weekend of POV streaming!
Final was great! Some key misses made it real interesting.
Jimmy Mataya for commentator of the year!!!!!!!

April 24-26 Carom Room BIG money 8 Ball! $2000 entry is a race to 15 barbox
and it has some the best players in the world.Scott and Shane both are in this event
so you might get to see that match.

He shot lights out and took it down.
Great event and the coverage was top quality. No missed matches, some guest commentators that really added to the stream. One big thing, I have not heard 1 comment about shenanigans with the prize money.
Great job players, streamers and admins of the event.

Seems to me they already did that, race to 150 8ball....and Scott didn't make it to a 100;)

Hey Glen I think that was the 9 ball match you are referring to that I attended. Scott did not make it to 100 in that match. Not only that but if I recall correctly Shane increased the gap amount each of the three days they played.

Could have sworn they played 8 ball, but being almost 60 some things are starting to slip my memory...:thumbup:

Good grief Glen, wait till you hit seventy plus like me. You might be lucky to remember which end of the table has the ball return  ;) !
