:rolleyes: I saw Scotty make this shot Hill to Hill ...........Just humor me with the color of the balls.......THE BLUE BALL is the SEVEN! and the RED and BLACK BALLS are the EIGHT & NINE BALLS!..........Scotty kicked into the side rail with a little low and alotta inside english...............He hit it perfect...the cue ball went 4 rails and hit the seven........and the 7 was above the middle diamond just a shade off the rail.... He got shape on the 8 and ran out to win the set....... IT WAS A SITE TO SEE!:eek:
 
lol... that would be a site to see... tricky shot for anyone, although there is a lil liuck involved. STILLLLL even to hit the damn thing 4!!! rails... scotty townsend i never heard of him... who is he??
 
You never heard a Scotty??? lol Straightest shooter in the south. He is from Louisianna originally I believe. He has been a great player for years. ...............On that shot I know he was lucky to just hit........and he hit it like he shot it straight in. It just looked like he knew he was gonna make it too.......It might have been aginst Johnny Archer if I remember right. In a 1000 added tourny....races to 11. Probably over 12 years ago.
 
Have to remeber that name.. havn't been out a lot in the pool world... know lots of players but not all i guess... it really is an incredible shot.. thanks forexplaining who he is:)

Is it true that Scotty only plays where Jack Daniels is served?

Where is he now? He skipped the Predator Cup in Orlando this year.
 
Last I heard I saw him at Starcade Thursday night Tourny a month or so back.........he was going back home he said......there were some tournys around that area he said. Alot of bar box tournys around La.....and that area.

Very true.......I grew up watching him play.........and he impressed me. If I could pick somebody to just get up and break and run out..........it's Scotty! He is one of the best and straighest shooters out there. And is capable of making any shot you give him!

What's so likable about a drunk, toothless, loudmouth? The only thing colorful about him is his red neck.

For those who have never seen him play, he is above average. Not capable of beating the best consistently. He addresses the cue ball w/ a lot of english, which I think caused him to miss a few balls in some big gambling sessions a while back.

I have known Scotty for about 12 years myself and he is a character. Not trying to start anything, but to the guy that called Scotty a "redneck", tell him that !

He is from Monroe La. and was living in Dothan, Ala. that is where his baby's moma lives.

He uses "inside english" better than God himself!
 
He showed god how to use indise english........lol. Yeah I really doubt that guy would say that to Scotty. He would tear his head off!

He may be a alcoholic but he is one hell of a great person and has the most heart of any pool player in history.
