I Know the name and probably the face. I know Deavers from the rack tournement in Memphis. And yes he has some gamble and can play some too.

Where do you play hold em?
 
When he was in Ft Walton there was gambing goin on. We would match up just to match up............Even taking the worst off it and try to out gamble the guy. It was a site to see him running around the table with one foot on the floor and the other strecthed out on the table........as a bridge...LMAO.

From where? I live in Pensacola............Use to Go to Starcade every Thursday night for their weekly tourny. Started goin there in 1988 I think..........and went till a few years ago when I quit playing.
 
Thought you might have played at the Casino Magic in Bay St.Louis before they closed the poker room. He was poker room mgr. and use to play pool pretty well. Beat Louie Roberts playing even on the bar box at Wendy's in Tupelo.

Volleyball Sam......BeachBum lol!......he was a Pro Voleyball player at one time. And hey Sizl...........no thats not me. Not sure who that is. Me, Morty, and Josh Kirby came thru Dothan that time. I am tall and thin..........Never a really good player, but us three did pretty good on the road. We could stay under the radar of the good players and match up good. Pulling up quick when we ran into a great player.,,,,,,,,,,,,,And hey Cuda.........I might know that guy you said........But I go to Biloxi....The Grand ...........The poker room there.

Someone let Scotty know their is a tournament at the Rack and the Boardwalk in Jackson, MS on July 11th - 13th. $30 entry limited to 64 in both tourneys.
 
All the rest of you straight shooters come to Jackson July 11-13 and teach Scotty Townsend how to play. You might have to try Reed Pierce some too. And don't think you can't get action either. More than a few stakehorses here. I heard Lil Jon will gamble. You hear the same thing?

Pooltablemech, do you guys remember Mike Henderson from Starcade or maybe you played cards with him? He move up to Joliet, IL where I use to live and became a chef.
 
Hemicudas, I remember Mike well. He still calls every now and then just to check in.

With the huge military presence here, we have Starcade alumni all over the world.

He is still where you last heard. He's listed in the book. Just leave off the middle name Ray. If you can't come I will be glad to match you up "Again" with Scotty. You know how he is. Get him drinking enough and he forgets how you guys played last time LOL. Bob Romano and I had a friend in Chicago that was like that. "Rocket Man".
 
I am off to California on the 13th, be back 12 days later.........From Cali to Michigan......then to Ohio. Its a new job I am starting.......and I will be able to hit the weekly tourneys all across the country. I hit a town and stay for 3 or 4 days, doing an easy job during the day. Then I will have the nights to hit the pool room for action or weekly tourneys if I find them. And off to the next town.
