Somebody has listed a '99 Scruggs 4 pointer up on ebay. It's not mine, just happened to see it posted. Doesn't look too bad. Has bidding starting at $500 with no reserve.

Here's the link. Don't worry - won't be at this price very long! Looks like a great Scruggs. Seller probably doesn't know anything about cues. Handsome cue.

I don't know, Chris. With the market being so soft this summer, it will probably just slide on in under the radar.:D Is this Scruggs guy one of those new cuemakers who recently popped up?;)

Not!

He probably is creating attention and excitement something I would have done also but I already have a standing offer on my cue on ebay and ran mine to see what was up. Over a dozen watchers. If I am lucky no one will bid on my Scruggs and my buddy in Mobile will have exactly what he wants in a few weeks. That Scruggs! And he will owe me a favor them.
Always smart to start low on ebay. I just didn't because no matter what that cue is sold. And for what little the auction is costing me it is a smart move to see if I can get extra. After all I am sure he will get one of the other left over Scrugg's I have. When you play with a Scruggs, nothing else will do!

Hey Nick, I'd bid on it myself, but just sent the rails from my Brunswick Anniversary table to Pat Sheehan to be redone down to 4 1/2 pockets, so money has already been spent. Guess I'll just have to live with my Scruggs Sneaky Pete for a while longer.:)

The Scruggs listed on Ebay has a GREAT write-up describing the cue .. doesn't it? All that is there is a picture.

At least there are good pics....usually you see one or two crappy pics...some written description would be nice though...

good pic's are worth a thousand words

Good pics are a plus but. How much does it weigh, whats the balance point, what size are the shafts, ivory ferrelles?, dings anywhere the camera doesnt show? has it been refinished if so by who?

Unless the person has one arm with one finger I dont see any reason to atleast be alittle descriptive.. this isnt a $20 cue here. If I were to find this cue with one hour to go, do you think he/she would reply to me with some information by then? Sortve lazy if you ask me.

balance point on Scruggs cues differ very little, the weight bolt can adjust that maybe 3/4" either way.

If you can buy a Scruggs cue at god price, buy it!
