hi there. I'm doing a good job of hanging onto the cues I like,I'll get back to ya'! thanks,Jeff:D

LOL How great is it that you just get ignored. I guess it's a lot like the boy who cried wolf. Or maybe people are just fed up with your bullshit. I guess people don't want to trde cues with a guy who has given up pool forever.

here are pics of the cue for those not knowing. it's NOT for sale otherwise though. I just don't use it as much as my unwrapped ones, so maybe it'll go for a scruggs s/p. I'll get pics in a minute (have to resize them)....also, it'll come with 1 shaft with ivory ferrule and med. moori tip

is that a DZ cue? its nice...

is this fool right? is this how you guys are thinking, which is why no responses via the post?

Yes actually, Jimbo is right. I cringe everytime I see you post. It is a lot like driving by a car accident. You don't want to look....but you just have to.

My guess is that you are offering a wrapped cue for a wrapless one. Most people learn very early which they prefer, and stick to that type. This of course means that not many people are going to want to trade their wrapless cues for a wrapped one.

The other thing to consider is that you can't buy a new Scruggs SP, while you can order a new DZ. People are more likely to hang onto a Scruggs SP speculating a higher rate of increase in value.

Personally, the more different cues I see and try, the more I realize my DZ was an excellent value with respect to both workmanship and hit. Having said that, I doubt I would sell a Scruggs sneaky if I had one, since as far as sneakies go, his are among the most sought after.

Jeff, why not a Frey SP? He uses better wood than Tim (or Bob in Tim's shop) used, and the hit is very similar in my experience (YMMV). Plus, they do not have the price inflation that collector demand causes.

well then Matt, I'll leave it up to you guys. if there are more responses like these two, I'll just quit coming here...but if the good outweigh the bad...you guys will just have to "suffer" and deal with me. you guys want me to stay, or leave? it's "attitude" like this (and more) which is the reason I "talk" to neither of you.
So why exactly do they want you to leave?

"good" joke Joey, but I don't care for the "buttsleeve" on a s/p. my buddies kids have cues like this, and they just don't look right to me. I'm sure they play right though :D
Really?

freakin tomato stake that your trying to pass off as a cue again...~shaking head amazed at what some guys pull~

just so happens I need some tomato stakes though ;)

Finding the perfect cue is an ongoing journey isn't it Duke. It should be fun too. I know I've enjoyed my meandering thru some very nice cues with various personalities. :)

Have owned ea of the 3 cues mentioned above, ie TS SP, Frey SP and recently a Diveney butterfly SP. IMO if your willing to commit the $600 - $800 for the fancy Scruggs SP you won't regret it. They are getting scarce on ebay anymore. Maybe buy one with minor finish problems for a bit less money and have Profecient Billiards make it "like new" for $100.

For alot less money you might try a Diveney's SP. Very solid, slightly firm hit, almost spooky similar play and feel vs the bacote TS I really like.

Did you give up on the idea of a plain jane wrapless cue? Good luck finding the one you keep but enjoy the journey too!
