Seattle Area AZers Roll Call

Linda,

Thanks for your offer of help. The files from this camera can be huge. Everytime I post one, after reducing, the quality goes out the window.

I mistakenly thought that you had a website, I remember clicking on a link in one of your posts and finding a lot of photos that you had downloaded. Would it be possible for us to be able to do something along those lines?

Don

OK, no problem. I reactivated the account, so we are good to go with posting pics there.

Lisa,

I noticed a couple more people from our area in this thread:

http://forums.azbilliards.com/showthread.php?p=611470&posted=1#post611470

I think March 17 is going to be a bad weekend because teams are going on at BCA Regionals in Lincoln City. I could probably still come since I will (hopefully ;) ) be finishing on Friday, however that is a long way from Lincoln City to Bellingham the next day.

Check out the tournament schedule here

and also, On The Wire.

Bump - Reminder

I have spoken to a few people already who have confirmed, and since it looks like we may not get a field of 20-24...we are figuring closer to maybe 12-16...we are going to switch the game from 9 Ball to 8 Ball. If this is a huge big deal, please let me know...but so far, the feedback has been leaning more towards playing 8 Ball.

Lisa

Thought I'd bump this thread to see if anyone else is looking for something to do on St. Patty's day ;)

Yeah that weekend would be a bad weekend on the 17th due to the Western BCA regional tourney. I don't think that I would make it up to the 'Ham for the tourney as it is anyways.

Also on another note, the ACS regional tournament is the next weekend on the 22-25th as well. Not sure if anyone on here but me will be playing in it but I am busy that weekend also.

Have a great time!

The great thing about moving 3,000 miles away from your nearest friends, is you also leave behind the schedules. So, yeah - I'm always looking for something to do. Only day I'm booked in April 9 - Robyn Hitchcock at the Crocodile! (some of you should come down for that - he is great).

This looks like a lot of fun... I should be able to make it... and I just sent an email to Mr. J to let him know about it. :)

Excellent - looks like a big party.

His response... he'll be down in Lincoln City, OR for the Western BCA Regionals... from 3/13 - 3/18.... :(

There was a time that I would have jumped at the chance to play in this tournament. However, I cannot commit as I have been working almost every Saturday for the last 8 months and see no end in sight. Send pictures.... :)

I noticed there were a couple new names that have popped up since this thread started, usually in the NPR section, or the places to play in Seattle. If Portland wants to come, there is Asiasdad. RealKingCobra might come up if he is in town.

Could we get an address and the name of the poolroom so I could mapquest it? Thanks!

The other thing we could do is organize a tournament in Portland - that would be a great road-trip that I know a few of us would head down for.

Bellingham is going to be too far away for me to make it, although I would love to meet everyone. I just inherited a couple of grandkids, so my free time is going to be at a premium. Now a Portland or even a Seattle or Olympia meeting would be fine for me. Anyone in the area is also welcome to come by my place and play snooker/pool most any time. Thanks to everyone involved for putting something together.

Sorry guys, I have to bow out. I generally work Saturdays and thought I'd be able to get this one off but there's just too much going on.
I'm totally bummed. Do you think maybe the next one could be a Sunday?

Another Straggler.........

This is Sean from Renton. If my schedule is clear I would love to participate in the az tourny. Keep us informed of the info, and date. Bellingham is kind of a fun trip up the highway. Maybe a few folks could join together and carpool if they wanted to save on gas.
