Second Trip to Melbourne: This Weekend

Once again, prolecat is going to Melbourne for the weekend. Planning to meet up with skippy, ARM9baller, and poolhallMaven. I would meet up with PROG8R but he is going out of town for the weekend.

Ill be in around 7-8pm on friday. You know where ill be!!
 
coupons for you? Well issue me some coupons and well talk. Im particularly interested in one coupon: the last three. You know i dont play for big money, but ill try you some cheap sets.. 5 for 10... 7 for 20.. i know its so cheap, but im in college. Idk about you, but i can still concentrate with that amount of money. If it takes more cash to get you to concentrate, then we might as well forget it. I dont want to play someone whos gunna slack off cuz the bet aint high enough.

I could find several others who can play their best for $10 or $20.
 
I understand your a college kid and I already told you my stance on that, I am not out to rob you, I've been there and know your not rolling in $$. I am willing to play as cheap as you want, I just want to play a bit in a decent game where I have to bear down. Races to 7 for 20 will be fine and I think im the favorite giving up the last 3 so you can get that. I think something more along the lines of the 7 and the last 3 would be closer to being in line.

Thinking of the college days do you remember a group of us including Robb and Roy going to VictoryLand Lounge and ME being the one playing!!
I have almost posted that story on here a couple times.
That was a good night. Odd but good.
I heard a name from the past today. Mike Maloney aka BurrHead.
He is back in Auburn and still plays pool.

I miss those days of cheap pool, fun and partying.
 
You think you can honestly give me the last three? Well id love to say that... i threw that out there expecting you to laugh. Well we can start with the last three, i would love to see someone play well enough to beat me with the last three.

I dont exactly know yet how i will be playing, due to recent stress, im going to go play tonight to get warmed up for tommorow. I really dont know whether you can or cant give me the last three, but it would be something id love to watch!

Hi ya Frank, I remember those days well and definately remember that trip. Where did you hear Mike's name at? I am going to try and make it up to Auburn this year for one of the games, one of my coworkers is going to try and get tickets to one of the games, hopefully Florida.
 
I think the last 3 is out of line in my favor, thats all I will say about that. I guess I will find out if you were stalling or something because I think Im stealing giving up the last 3 especially given the results of the people you played.

thats fine, give me whatever makes it even... 7,8 the breaks, last three and the seven.. whatever u think is fair. Just play good pool.

RJ has the nuts w/ the last 3. 7 and the last three is probably a good starting point.

Welcome back to Melbourne...I've got company coming from Dunnedin tomorrow but, I might be able to get up to the Golden Cue on Saturday nite. I'll play ya cheap too and when this old girl is worn out you can play some of the younger fellas who stay out till 2:00 a.m.. RJBigfish will give you a fair game, he is a good guy and not out to rob anybody--he's got real class!

I hate to chime in on you, but for a strong player, giving the last three isn't really weight. How many times do you think he will miss a 3 ball out, and if it isn't there, you can bet that your not going to be able to see it either. Take the 7 and the last 3 if he will give it. But I would be more inclined to ask for the wild and games on the wire. That will help you have more fun and keep the $$$ in your pocket.

Sorry I am going to be gone this weekend. You have my info on when I will be free, hopefully we can make a lil pool weekend thing or something. Take care and be safe.
