SEE System Insanity!!!

The spots aren't exactly where Ekkes set them up but they are on the base angles or they are within or at the limits of a set.... Looks like 12 is the magic number... Now I need to make my flash cards for no throw, CIT, and SIT.... Still not ready to post a review but I will say I am seeing some merit....

The 15 is on the object ball mark... And the ring binder reinforcements are color coded based on Ekkes' 6 angle ranges based on Orientation lines and Cueing lines... I start with 0 degree straight ins and by the time I have the cueball at the last 4 spots the pile of balls has dwindled to the point they are not in the way.......

The chalk mark is old and had nothing todo with SEE..

LOL I have read thru the aiming section maybe 5 times now and resorted to this to finally get my head around it.... I actually just shot 0-8 degree shots with it for a week just to get consistent in the way you have to move.....

I think this is a system that is learned better on the table than on paper...

I will not touch the banks until I get thru the aiming section.....

What!!!

Dude.......... I thought that was just "the Pat Fleming practice routine" you were doing down there in the basement, not a science of aiming experiment!

That is definitely from Pat's "school of thought" I am not sure how big of a bucket o' balls he had but I am upto 70 LOL... Makes the practice way easier when you don't have to stop to clear the pockets or retrieve balls..... I can do 2 hours easily now where the old way wore me out in 30 minutes because of starting, stopping, and distractions....

Anyone else working thru the SEE system? I have modified the half ball 30degree shot lines for myself and wanted some back and forth with others working on it....

SEE-System

Hey Renfro,

if you had to modify the 30° line please watch out if you really did as it meant to be. (and please check on http://pool.bz/Aiming-Calculator.php if your set up really is on 30° and not steeper-can't really tell it from your foto, but looks more like a 34° angle or more to me...-just in case...)
If it is right, line up STS/ slide forward and check if the middle of your tip points right to the left edge of the object ball when you are in your set position. If so check if your speed is not to slow and really go through with you stroke-otherwise you will miss on the left side of the pocket. (talking about your foto in your initial post) In case you don't go through nicely on your strok, the effect will be the same as if you use a stun and you will have to modify your ETO line to STE.

Best

Thanks Ekkes,

I am still not using the cit and sit adjustments just working on making the angles with a rolling ball. when I can get thru all 12 references without having to slow down and think I will pick up the adjustments. So far the half ball is the only angle where I am not close to 100% up to 59 degrees using the system...

I am a little confused on the half ball because the diagram shows a different STS/ETO on the spreadsheet than on the aiming diagram.... Page 32/Page 45.........

I tried it out a bit, but found that it wasnt for me. Good luck, I hope others have better success.

This system "seems" easy to pick up if you know cte/pro1, i tried it last night from what info i could figure out from the trailer that was made public. I just tried a handful of shots, the system seems pretty good. I never realized body position was so important in your pre shot routine until i started using systems.
