I just ordered my first Segen from Evan this morning, very excited after talking to him. I will post a review after I get a little trigger time with it, should be here early next week. I'm not a fan of the rounded points, but at the price points Evan is setting, it's hard to go wrong. I thing the elforyn joint and longer taper should make for a great player.

Yeah give him a call. He face timed me and showed me what was ready and gave me a video tour of the new shop.

"Downtrodden" huh? Bet the folks at Schon are just giddy about that.

With those designs and website pictures, maybe the company should have been named "Shawn Cues". (My assumption is he has a bone to pick with Schon).

Yep, cue presentation are similar to Schon, why didn't they choose another pictures and text font?
That method of presenting cues and everything was very possibly Evan's idea to begin with when he was at Schon. Plus, there are only so many ways you can showoff the butt sleeve and forearm of a cue in one photo while having it big enough to show detail.
The similarity to Schon is evident, but Evan was at the head of Schon for a very long time so it's not really that surprising I don't think.
I'd like to give on a try but lack of linen wrap option is an issue for me, I just don't like the feel of the leather that I've tried. Evan said he has tons of leathers available though so I might stop by sometime and see if I can find one that feels good to me.

I think that means you turn it a number of times until it tightens.:nanner:
