Where did this phrase come from?

I personally like the logic that "if you do not see lots of a certain brand for sale on the 2nd hand market, then it MUST mean that everyone love theirs."

If this was true, than Southwest cues must be one of the worst cue ever made, as I see them on ebay all the time.

Yeah!!! What's with those people??!!?? :) ;)

I admit it...I'm part of the FFC (Frequent Flipper's Club). For the most part, I do exactly what Jazz just mentioned.

I am a HUGE cue fan (for those that may not know), and have been extremely pleased with most of my purchases...but I've also been selective on what I buy to begin with. I'm fortunate that when I do "hype" one up when I sell it, the guy/girl that buys the cue from me will agree with my assessment, as I am accurate with my postings.

It's another matter, altogether, when the cue doesn't quite match up to what is initially described....or is so completely over-inflated that I make it out to be that God made the cue personally.

Gotta go.....FFC meeting starts in 5 minutes!!! :) :) :)

Speaking of Southwest cues - I saw an ad today when I was searching for something else and it came back "Best hitting Southwest cue ever!" My first thought was why would you sell the best ever? and my second thought was your best hit is probably totally different from everyone elses. Until this thread I never really payed attention to any of this but now I am seeing it everywhere.

Joe your crude and uncalled for remarks of people who believe in christ is truly uncalled for!making a general statment of priest is offensive. somtimes the thinking befor typing is best! there has been a time or two when i regretted what i typed and spok out of anger. it may be a joke but in very poor taste! regards Bill

I think I'm a closet case ... I got cues to sell but am too lazy/busy to hype or to sell ....

I keep telling myself it's good thing I spent the money on the cues since I might have spent the money on other worthless items like fancy cars, sex, drugs or rock and roll :rolleyes:

Would hate to separate that masterpiece from the master.

Looking forward to seeing the BB Custom that was Customized, Simonized and Rattasized.

I seen a cue on a cue site i think it is a motteycue #827 under new cues that says somthing like http://www.classiccues.com/cues/newcues.htm cue hits very solid "and is just about mint" what the heck is just about ? :D
