Seminole Pro Tour changes for 2010

Just got word that the Seminole Pro Tour is changing back to Saturday/Sunday only events with mini tournaments on Friday nights.

There is talk of 3 stops outside of florida and the rest of the tour dates in Florida. I think its safe to speculate that Jacksonville, Springhill, Tampa and Cape Coral are on the short list of tour stops for the 2010 tour. Im being told that the Seminole Tour is hashing it out right now and will probably finalize plans in the next few weeks but that the Sat/Sun thing has been decided.

So good news for all the working joes in Florida that want to play on the Seminole tour for 2010!

Pensacola

What the heck is wrong with Pensacola? It would be the BIGGEST DRAW out of all of the FLORIDA stops in my opinion.

Would you see that the decision makers get this note? I have been waiting for YEARS for the Seminole Tribe to make this move.

A PENSACOLA, FL stop would get players from Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia and of course Florida.

I was whining to Seminole Sports Management (Kevin Picard) about the missing Pensacola stop for two years previous to this one, to no avail.

No one ever gave me an answer as to why Pensacola is not a stop.

I have been in one particular pool hall that could handle an event like that in Pensacola, Nine Mile Billiard, I think was the name.

Add in the fact that John Schmidt could use his four wheeler to go to that event.

It really doesn't make sense to me. I think the decision makers may be getting bad information..... Maybe the advisors (not you) think it is too far from central Florida. (New York must be closer )
