Al Lapena beat Dennis Orcullo and Trevor Braymore. I guess Al can play a little or Dennis has been keeping late hours and running out of gas.

Reports are there is lots of matching up going on in Tampa. Any AZers at the tournament with computers?

Buddy lost his first match to young Hunter Lombardo. Corey Deuel 'forfeited' his first match and I don't see Charlie Williams listed on the chart.

If that's the one on the front page here, the bracketts say Stevie Moore beat Dennis Hatch, but no score listed yet.

I'm guessing they are gambling too late at night and just can't wake up for their matches. You can't hoot with the owls all night and fly with the eagles all day. The engine eventually wears down no matter what your age.

Well, as Joey A. pointed out, there has been ALOT of day & night gambling leading up to the tournament. But, we also had tropical storm Barry move right through the tournament area, dumping 5"-6" of rain in a very short period. It caused local flooding, blocked roads and stalled/slow traffic.

Hatch was a no show, Corey is playing Great but was late and forfeited his 1st match.

Kennedy is playing real good and beat Kiamco right before I left.

It is taking 3 - 4 hours between most matches and some more than that.

The storms did delay a lot of people, but the Filipino posse was out in force (Pagulayan was playing the best out of them all day from what little I watched).

It should be called "Survivor: FL Tour Edition".... it's running smooth but slooooow (short races to 7). The humidity is about 200% in there and the tables are playing like s... for everyone. But that is due to happen after no rain for so long and then a ton at once.

I'm beat and played like it. I lost my last match around 11 pm (long days like today catch up quick).

I seems weird that Rodney Morris and Rod Saez is no longer at Capones! I think I was told they have moved away. I did not see either name on the tournament brackets.

( I qualified for two poker tournament Finals today. One at 1:15 and one at 3:00 p.m. If I'm illuminated early enough from both of them (as usual) I may drive up to Capone's and sweat the Finals. And then perhaps to Hammer Heads Billiards to see if there's any action taking place )

Its not weird, its life. Robb is alive and well living in Patadise <Miami> for now.
