I'm not sure about all that,
for those that still have a TV, that is on most of the day,
I've notice more commercials were the settings are in a game room
with the table in view;
the progressive Ins.
and the TD Ameritrade both in an upscale scene.

I do think the walking dead writers with their dying vision is deliberate
towards the negative.

That may be true for some of the foreign tournaments I've seen but it is not true in the American tournaments that have referees. Believe it or not, there are even referee training programs in the US.

As for getting someone out of the stands, most of the people in the stands have no idea what the rules are, and in the US the rules change from tournament to tournament.

Often during the event, I explained to the person next to me what the rules were

Yeah that's it

The funny posts are where posters say, as if no one ever thought of it before, "and you can go out and get sponsors". Uhmmmm... no company is interested in sponsoring pool given its reputation of hustlers, smoking, drinking, fighting etc,, deserved or not.[/QUOTE]

Yesiree, that's the answer get upstanding citizens in there and get rid of
all those mean ole neer-do-wells and boy oh boy the sponsors would be
knocking down the doors to throw their money behind that. No the funny
posts are the ones that think it's reputations is what's holding it back. Pools
most popular times were when all the hustlers, gamblers, smokers, drinkers
and fighters were in the pool rooms. That's been tried time and time again
at upscale pool rooms that open and they didn't draw enough customers
to fill up a phone booth. Pool has always be a haven for Gypsys tramps,
and thieves and that was okay by me.
