Server Scheduled Down Time

We will be taking the webserver down around 6:00 PM EST on Tuesday for some much needed upgrades. We hope to have it back online Tuesday evening.

While we know that the timing is bad with Derby City and all, the recent performance issues have proven to us that this work has to be done now and not later.

Thanks for the fix, it runs much better now. And don't ask why I am browsing this site at 2am eastern time.

It seems like you don't know how much you appreciate something as great as this forum until it is not available. To be sure, being able to keep up to date on the happenings via the AzBilliards Discussion Forum is a godsend to many folks around the world, and in a strange way, it keeps us all connected.

Thanks for the heads-up on the down time while the server is getting tweaked, and in case anybody hasn't said it lately to AzHousePro (Mike), thanks for keeping AzBilliards strong. :)

Damn. If you take the server offline, what am I supposed to do while I'm at work? :D
 
heh heh. Believe me. I have pressed the 'power button' quite a few times in the past 40 or so hours.

As a Network Admin I feel for you.... Theres never enough coffee, you doze out while waiting for the server to reboot (again) at about 3am, and no one buys you a frosty beverage when your done...

Great work Mike... the waitings been worth it, because the sits flying. If I ever get out that way the 1st rounds on me.

No get some sleep
