Has anyone ever built a servo motor controlled pool robot?
I've been loosely kicking around the idea of building one for fun. It could even have multiple motors, one for the shoulder, one for the elbow, even one for the wrist! Yikes
If it worked, it would have the potential to test a lot of things we debate all the time, such as the acceleration profile of the stroke before contact, the acceleration profile of the stroke after contact, piston vs pendulum stroke, twisting the wrist mid-stroke to apply spin, etc.
