Several of us had the same Idea...

Some time ago, one of our members, Paul Schofield, posted a series of pictures of his Balabushka. I thought it was magnificent. Subsequently, I have seen several members post pictures of really nice tribute cues that they had commissioned under the theme of that cue. After first seeing Paul's cue, I decided I wanted something along the same lines, but tweeked just a little. I contacted Pete Tascarella and discussed the project. I sent him a thin butt cue that Pete had made for Jimmy that I now own so the specs would be the same. I wanted a nice Brazilian Rosewood and classic Titlist veneers. Here is what I just used this morning to hit some balls. The workmanship is precise and hit feels excellent.

Beauty of a cue you have there Phil. Pete does some amazing work. I just love how my fullsplice Tasc plays. Thanks for sharing you pics
Have a nice day sir.

Great cue Phil, no doubt it plays great. Tasc is
on my list, though it may be awhile before I get
one. Thanks for showing and congrats.

Something about titlist colored veneers plus famed cue maker gets me excited about a cue. This is a nice setup with a good name to boot. I've not owned a Tasc but I hope to find something real soon.
Thanks for sharing.

thanks

Thanks for your comments. My pictures do not actually do this cue justice. The Brazilian Rosewood is dark with streaks, the EE wrap is black and the Bushka ring is Brazilian Rosewood and maple.

Phil, really great Tascarella!!! :)

Yep, that beautiful rosewood Tascarella cue I used to own plays incredible. I'm glad it's in a really good home. :) Best hitting Tasc I've ever had in my hands.

Enjoy them both.............:)

Showpiece Cue.....Center Stage

You could put a spotlight on the cue, place it in a display case and hang in the museum.......timeless beauty.

What are the name of the green holders that are holding up the butt? I cant seem to find them and want a set....

Thanks allot guys for all the nice comments and thanks Bob...I forgot where i got those green things. My pictures really suck. The inlays are a littlr distorted and I did not capture the true colors. I may try and update this in the future with better pictures.
thanks again
Phil

Awesome cue and beautiful table!

Rob.M

thanks Rob,
I did not get much of the table. It is a Restored Rosewood Brunswick Centennial redone by Mark Gregory. Sinonis 860, slate blocked and cemented, Artmis rubber and undrrails rebuilt. Recently Mark came down just to check it out. We concluded it was me missing and not the table. It plays quite tough and I need a stroke.
All the best,
Phil
