I really like Sightron and Nightforce scopes for target rifles. Never had to deal with their warranty myself but have heard great things from others. Even returning repaired or replaced scopes free of charge when the owner even admitted to breaking it by dropping it.Hi-dollar Leupold. Why the redundancy?
Great glass, best warranty, period.
And yes, they protect their reputation and image (no pun intended) very seriously.

Haven't read the whole thread yet, so forgive me if this has already been mentioned. I don't think what you're saying above is the point of everyone making fun of you. Of course everyone would pay the cheaper price at the other dealership. They just wouldn't call the pricier dealership and tell them they're too expensive.
FFS, just buy it at the cheaper place and move along.

I’m not cheap. I’m frugal, dawggone it! Even when it isn’t my money; browbeat the snot out of any salesman I deal with:
Salesman comes out every Friday. Don’t buy much off him, but he’s persistent so started getting some other things. Ordered a pallet of brake drums used to paying ~105 a drum. Look at the receipt and they were 147 each.
Next time I was ready to order brake drums I put a stack of drums and other stuff we order off of him next to the door he walks in. Sittin on top of it, like the cherry on a sundae was a random invoice from one of his competitors.
“Can’t think of anything we need this week. Hate to rush ya, but things are stacking up. We’ll check ya later.”
“How you doing on drums?”
“We’re just gonna get’em as we use’em from now on.”
“We just got a container in. Until they’re gone I can get you a pallet for 95 each.”

I recently dealt with both to purchase a cue. Both had exactly the same price. Seyberts also offers a 5% discount to APA members. PoolDawg offers the stick light or heavy. Seyberts will adjust the weight in ¼ oz. increments. I also wanted a specific weight and a set of weight bolts which they don't list for sale. Customer service helped me through the whole process and as soon as I placed the order the rep went to the shipping department to make sure everything went as I wanted. Good Customer Service is a very valuable thing.

Agreed. I used to deal exclusively with Seyberts, but they changed a couple of their policies that made them a little less customer-friendly in my opinion. I recently got a Mezz Sneaky Pete from Pool Dawg and they were the only place where I could get one. The weight wasn't what it was supposed to be when I received it and they took care of me perfectly. I was impressed.
