Bob just opened the box. What an OUTSTANDING cue, like always pictures don't convey how nice a cue really is. Have to wait till I get home to try it.

Spent some time on the table and can say this is a sweet hitting cue.Bob is another great guy to get a custom cue from.

shadowmoss......I can't speak about the age or quality of wood Bob selects since I'm basically wood ignorant.
I side with you about the sweet hit of Owen cues and I think the contour of Bob's cue shafts could be a factor.
The bottom-line is I really don't need to understand why. I just enjoy playing with one of the best feeling cues.
The biggest compliment you can pay any cue-maker is repeat business.. Bob quickly earned mine, as did Jerry R.
You own a real dandy cue & it's a head turner and I hope your table play make spector heads turn in amazement.
