Shaft Wood

Have anyone had any experience with CueComponets out of Florida? I am looking for some good shaft wood and I see their offerings on Ebay. Any help would be thankful.

Thanks for your time...

shaftwood

I have never purchased from them(cue-components) Ive read the window dressing they lay it on thick. Prices are way out of line I think. I was interested in africian hardwoods and they were 3 to 4 times as much. You do the math 1 piece =3-4 pieces elsewhere. good luck- cuemakers will seldom tell you where to get good shaft wood. Call Dennis Dieckman he has shaftwood. mark

Cue Stock Inc. has some very nice wood in different grades, available from dowel form to finish turned....and very fair pricing too. I've dealt with them in the past and was always pleased with the product & service. Check out their website for more info.:)

Dealing with Cuecomponents

I won some "premium" shaft dowels from them on eBay several years ago. They sent me the wrong dowels. After numerous e-mails (that got me snotty replies) they finally admitted that they sent me the wrong dowels. Rather than send me the correct ones, the only recourse they gave me was "ship 'em back and we'll refund your money". I didn't want my money back , I wanted what I paid for. I dropped it, used the sh*tty dowels for cores and I'll never deal with them again.

Thats just one of many not so great stories I've heard of dealing with them. Personally I've never dealt with them....simply been to scared with what I've read. I do have several cuemaker friends who've had their cards double charged after placing an order. With that said I also know there are many who've dealt with them and are very happy with the service & product.
Like I said in my earlier post....if I needed some shafts immediately...I'd call CueStock Inc. 585-768-7838 It run by William Dominiak....builder of Dominiak cues. www.cuestockinc.com

That boy in the back must have grabbed the wrong ones again.
