Thanks Lee for the shafts, i finished 1 this evening . installed ring off old huebler shaft and even made a nylon insert. fits pretty good and tightens like a huebler too. hope to get to try it tomorrow.

Hi Carl; what was the joint diameter of this shaft, when you got it?...JER
 
i will recheck this evening, i didnt have to remove much to get it to the diameter of the old joint collar. .015 i think,all by sanding from 280 to 1000. but will check , i wrote it down.

btw i used the sanding conditioner i recived from you, it seemed to help keep the paper from clogging as well as smother finish, i also assumed you are supposed to use it between grits too,

STARTED OUT AT .870 FINISHED AT .832 , TIP WAS 13.4 MM FINISHED 12.9(WANTED 13)

this is my first try , edges a little rough on wrap(need to sharpen grove ends a little more i think.
