This is a small sample and there may be some difference in the quality of players represented, or perhaps other factors in unaware of. Still, the difference is substantial, in my opinion, larger than can be explained by choice of sample size.

Dr. Dave has tabulated some results from many of my AzB stats threads (8-Ball, 9-Ball, and 10-Ball) on his website. Successful breaks are one of the stats in those tables. So you can find many more events there: https://billiards.colostate.edu/faq/break/stats/. The conditions listed there for each event, as well as the overall skill level of the players covered (see the actual stats threads for judging that), are important when making comparisons.

Wasn't SVB the one who was getting a pocket on the 10Ball break with consistency?
Keeping your run alive is what makes players professional. Let's see more players do THIS under the heat, (THEN maybe they got a better chance to take on Europe in the MC) JMHO.

I agree that these rules were popular for years, but after playing CSI rules, I much prefer them.
