Friends, here are some pictures of Shane Van Boening and
his very beautiful pool cue made by custom cuemaker Pat Diveney!
The ebony-ivory cue is stunningly beautiful! And I kid you not!
Much thanks for looking, everyone!

It must have had a hundred games on it by the time I took those pictures. Butterflycues.Craig Fales said:Not being a dick but is that a used cue??

Duane Tuula said:Sure, custom made for Shane. What's the odds on him playing with the cue "as is" in 6 months? What are the odds he even owns the cue in 6 months?
The cue looks great but Shane has a custom that he has played with for a long period of time and is comfortable. Why would he change?
I recall when SVB had an OB1 shaft that was "all the rage". I asked him myself at the WCO and he was nice enough to say he "liked the shaft" but when he played I noticed he didn't use that shaft.
It's just a really difficult position a player is put in when someone offers "something". Can they actually play with the product? Feel varies by person so I would be very surprised in the long run if Shane plays with the cue.
