I watched him scratch 3 times in a row on that shot here at my house, he was shooting it for a couple hours, he picks a shot and practices it for hours at a time, this is one of those shots. I cant get that much juice on the rock, best I did was all the rails and it was headed into the top corner pocket-the line was right but I was a foot below below the side pockets which is a long way from the scratch. Thats the best I have ever done out of perhaps 100 trys. Shanes stroke is so good!!!! He dosent hit it as hard as you might think. Infact the time I hit it good I used a softer stroke and went deeper and the whole way threw the CB. It felt great.

Not to belittle Shane's stroke, but Larry Nevel shoots that shot with the CB frozen to the end rail.

Nevel could draw the pool table back for position if he needed to.
Almost vertical. He shoots through the edge of the cushion and his tip hitting the table sounds like he'll shatter his shaft.

I can do it on my 9' footer, but I can't get it all the way around the table with this stupid slow cloth.

Here's the link of Larry Nevel doing it frozen to the rail. You're not kidding about the laughing, how annoying.
The most impressive thing in this video isn't just that he does it frozen to the rail... he jacks up one handed and draws it straight back. Crazy stroke.

I'd love to be there for the one pocket tournament but things keep coming up. Today we're taking the kids to the Nuggets game. I hate missing the monthly one pocket tournament there though, it's a good one.
That was a 6 foot table, no?
Looked like a standard bar table, 7' I think. I wasn't there. I couldn't do it one handed on a 3' table.
