i paid for svb busta, but svb alex would work

It's free now - they're going to refund you on paypal tomorrow automatically.

If this match comes through and the feed is decent, I'm just going to donate something tonight.

Do you think Shane should play Efren even in one pocket?

why not..his a great champion as what others has been barking here in this forum....Reyes, Busta, Alex, Parica, Dennis, or Alcano never asked for a weight. For me being great champion will play even whatever discipline of pool games you are playing...

Ya, but I would rather pay and keep the better quality. The free stream is the worst it has been all week... Audio and video cutting out like crazy

That's why I say, subbing Alex in for Busta in a race to 30 is a fair trade, and it seems that everyone else wants the same thing

Shane is basically a championship rotation player (9 ball and 10 ball) but he is still learning one pocket, which is a very complex game. Shane got a 2 ball spot from Cliff Joyner playing 1 p (Cliff is one of the best 1p players in the world), and Cliff gets a 2 ball spot playing Efren, so realistically to have a fair match, Shane would need a 4 ball spot from Efren. Sure, he could play Efren even, but he is there to make money, not lose it.

I know SVB still learning the game of 1P...but i stand correctly the first time Reyes entered and play 1P ...he won it...even he was still learning one pocket at that time?....does it make difference now on SVB side even though he just learning to play 1P????....Ok then..how about if Reyes ask for weight because of his health condition and age...9 or 10 ball game race to 25...Reyes will get 10 head and breaking first...Reyes is there also to make money not to lose it ....

The feed is better now...

Mine is fine now too.

I don't think SVB asked Efren for weight, Efren offered but Shane turned it down.

Well, Efren wouldn't play him 10 ball (Efren offered Shane a 3 ball spot in one pocket - not enough weight) and Bustamante just backed out.

I guess Shane's list of 10 ball customers just dried up. It's like Efren trying to get an even one pocket game - ain't gonna happen.

Chris

Efren wouldn't play him 10 ball???? Am I seeing this right?? How do you know that? Just asking. and Efren flat out said I will not play you 10 ball to Shane? My heart is broken in bits if this is true.......................... Im just going to quit pool forever if the best player alive is worried...... Efren..... Oh Efren...... Tell me it isn't so....

I dont think you fully understand the game of 1 pocket. Shane did not ask for weight against efren or busta playing 10 ball he wanted those matches straight up. They backed out. Playing 1 pocket there are 1000 or more shots that you would not normally think of in normal pool. Just because someone is a better 1 pocket player does not really mean they are a better shot maker or pool player, it just means they know the game more. Give Shane a little time his learning curve is above average and he has been throwing himself into the ring with some of the best to learn it.

no, he does not need it. Just like he did not ask for weight against Busta. Like earlier, Efren wont play him 10 ball, and Shane would be crazy to take his offered spot in 1 pocket.

I just heard it from the people at Derby and on the TAR live feed, but it was well publicized that Shane wanted to play Efren 10 ball and it has been discussed all week. Shane was asking Efren for a 10 ball match as soon as Shane had won enough money. Efren offered 1p with a spot but not 10 ball. It's been obvious to me that Efren doesn't like to play 10 ball against big breakers. His break is good, but not huge and he (and his backers) realize how important the huge break is in 10ball. Who knows? Maybe they're holding back for a different time and place..

The Alex and Shane match is right on. Nobody has to beat Alex!

Oh i do understand the game of 1 Pocket...what im saying here is that why did he back out too when reyes offer him 3 balls on 1P???? does he want more weight like 4 or 5 balls..why can he just ask reyes to give his money to him and play reyes 1p for fun lol....if he is really a true great champion as what others are saying about him..why can he just play reyes on 1p or joyner straight up and see who the best player is...and then ask reyes to play 10 ball straight up ....give and take right?...if SVB truely a great champion he will play Reyes straight up on any discipline of game in pool..just my .02...remember reyes has health issue and his age.he shouldn't be playing pool anymore..he should be back in the philippines playing chess...but look where is now..still playing and beating those young kids....SVB has a lot of years ahead of him....and i'm sure he will win more major championship...

I can understand about the break and I meant no offense to Shane. Just stunned Efren would turn down an even game with anyone. And it breaks my heart. lol. Oh Efren.. :)
