Shane Winters V. Skylar Woodward!! Who do you like

Break

Its eight ball bar box. At this level whoever is breaking better wins. It justs so happens one player racks and breaks better

I think if someone beats Skyler on a bar box playing 8 ball, they will have to play perfect pool.

It can be done, but if Shane lets Skyler to the table, its tough action.

I like Skyler in the matchup.

Shane Winters played a very good friend of mine at the big White Diamond tourney about 2-3 years ago. I watched him crush my friend 7-1 without making a single mistake. It was some of the strongest barbox 9B I've ever seen.

He's a monster. So is Sky, of course.

Btw, my friend is no banger. He's known as one of Arkansas' strongest players and has been so for over 25 years. He's beaten Chip, Joey, and scores of others.

Shane Winters chewed him up and didn't give 2 fawks about it.

Shane vs. Sky on a barbox is a pick'em for me, if they're both playing their normal gear. And I'm a huge fan of Sky. I was just blown away by how eerily strong Winters can play the game.

Shane winning 7-1 means nothing about how strong he plays, my mom can play a perfect race to 7! Last WD tournament I beat D Smith 7-1 so I must be the best there is right? Sky wins any game against shane

Stream looks great

Wow, that young man has what it take to be one of the best in the
world, if not the best. He's well on his way. I know it's only 8 ball on
a bar table, but he can flat out play any game on any table. Consider
me a fan, he's definitely the kind of person people like to root for.

5 games in a row

Terry, you were right. He ran out five racks but he didn't break and run out for game 8. Shane broke from the left into the 2nd ball and left that nasty cluster on a dry break. Sky sliced and diced that cluster to run out and then broke and ran 4 racks to win it. That just took the wind right out from Shane, I am sure. Shane was shooting well and only made a few mistakes...the dry breaking is what ultimately killed him.

I was there in person and watched all of the first set and the first couple games from the 2nd before I had to leave. I really dig watching barbox 8 ball. A lot of running out, but there were some layouts where these players were getting out where they had to do a lot more work than say running out a 9 ball rack. Shane Winters looked like he was playing really good, but as others stated despite trying many different kinds of breaks from different positions he couldn't get them to go in off the break. Sky was using pretty much 1 style of break and seemed to be making 2 at least every time often times giving him choice (they were playing take what you make). Even when Shane had a chance to run out racks the balls always seemed to be laying really tough, but he was getting out. Just tough sledding with the break. One thing I seemed to notice and maybe I'm wrong, but it looked like to me Shane was hitting them at least 2 or 3 mph harder than Sky. He was exploding the rack, but the balls weren't trickling in the sides or the corners.
