There's been independent threads of other cue makers and their cues and i think Dave's work definitely deserves a thread of his own.

Dave's definitely delivering cues but i'm not see any new cues shared in the Gallery, hopefully with this thread more of his masterful crafts can be shared with everyone here.

Come on guys, do share.

I'll start with the recent photos i took of this Hickory Burl Beauty:

Wanna see more pics check out this thread: http://forums.azbilliards.com/showthread.php?t=369039

Another beautiful Merry Widow by Dave.
A friend of mine used to own this cue and it plays great with excellent Fit and Finish, i believe it's currently for sale on Bill's website (Cornerstone).

On another note many people don't know this but Dave actually has 2 different tapers for his shafts, one with more flex and one that's slightly stiffer. Both awesome and really depends what you like.

Here is another merry widow, wrapless . pics taken when it was new . Diospyros beauty : black & white ebony , gaboon ebony handle. The "real" color is a darker yellow.
The shafts -older/stiffer taper- are excellents. it's my daily player. Born to be played & kept.
Something hard to see on the pics : Dave's finish is really stunning, absolute zero defects. The accuracy of Dave's work is unusually crazy . He's a master , no doubt IMHO.
The 5 rings are perfectly aligned, and -little detail- the tone of the cue is very clear, unusually clean "pitch" . forward balanced (19 3/8 ) , on the stiff side, super nice to play.
Since it's being played, this cue now lives with some little nicks ;-) , a silicon -carom- wrap, K.black soft tips and some blueing on both shafts, i must admit ;) . a real pleasure ... not for sale .

That's a cool looking Barenbrugge you got there, is it a recent work or?
Would love to see a full cue pic if you have any.

That an older cue from Dave & I believe that the ONLY titleist cue Dave ever made & there also a very interesting story behind it too.

Then you gotta tell me some of that story someday. It could be my daughter's bed time story from Uncle Tommy

i think it was one of a group made for Lucky to be shown at Blatt Billiards cue show or something in NYC

This is a great thread with spectacular looking cues. I first did not understand these, now I do and love the woods and exotic combo's! Unfortunately, i do not have one and now I am spoiled by this thread. :(

Thanks Jive!

You should really really get one and you'll soon appreciate how well made his cues are. I'm just patiently waiting for my butterfly cue right now.
