Sharking from the crowds at pool events

Pro pool events are open to anyone and everyone.

A community available to all does have areas to improve on.

Watching a pool match during a tournament, is what can be improved on. People that watch pool matches help support the event. That support comes at a cost, when players are managing their runout management strategy and defending against cell phone ringers and loud behavior. This is called the hometown environment, which is people being disrespectful. Are fans paying tickets? Yes. But if you are paying a ticket to cause commotion and upset people, then you aren't a fan. You could be the sponsor of the event and still be jerk about it.

Pro players have every right to confront audience behavior and make requests that event staff take action.

Is a pro pool match about making them sweat more during a match? I thought its enough that they sacrifice a good portion of their lives to billiards excellence. But some fans believe, not only do players have to put up with disrespect they have to do it without fear of repercussions.

Am I suggesting pro pool events have policies for removing fans due to bad behavior? Yes.

Pro players do share their frustration during the matches, should there be a policy for behavior that won't be tolerated? Let's address this issue once and for all. As I fan I am there to watch great billiards. Do big misses and upsets happen yes? But seeing a pro bounce back is what makes me love it.

The pro pool community is competitive, what can be done is, if a fan is being unruly, single them out and bring it to event staff attention. I'd rather watch some fan get yelled at then watch a cue ball get polished ten times over.

You want to stop the crowd heckling?
Stop having calcuttas so spectators don't go crazy trying to shark everyone their horse is playing.
You want everyone that's left to shut up?
Shoot them all in the face.

People do it , even when there is no money on it.
Some people are creeps, many of them enjoy it.
They are so miserable , they can't stand anyone that's any good at anything, or is having a good time.
Read the posts people put on here.
I can't play in the poolroom I went to for 30 years because a handful of them can't stand that I am successful and happy.
They are neither, and it kills them to see me do well, they are always trying to shark me or telling some stranger what a clown I am.
In one way, I feel sorry for them, in another, they make me want to scream at them.
As I get older I realise how short life really is, why waste a moment of it on negative stuff, or people?
If things are not working out for you, try something different, who knows, you may get blessed.

I would never shark anybody, but having to sit in a church is boring as hell.

I can't stand playing in a quiet room and wouldn't want people to sit there like they're in a court room, let em have fun like Mosconi and you might get more viewers - Mosconi cup sure does
