Shaw/ Bergman- OFF

17-15 Berg
Corey running out, hooked himself on the 8...hit it and dropped whitey

I'm surprised Bergman is doing the second ball break. Corey always does it and he pulls off miraculous outs with all the clusters, but Bergman can't even make a ball using that break anymore.

I think that Berman's break is the one weakness he has.

That’s cool I understand your point. I just repeated how the match was advertised.

Ray and the players had a rules discussion before they started and decided on open if you make something from each group, even if it is more from one group than the other.

I don’t like take what you make...
...saw Ronnie Wiseman make five low balls on the break...hooked on the other low balls...
...ran out on high balls.
The more balls you make in one group, the more likely you won’t have a shot.

“Take what you make” belongs in a Monday night bar league

"Take what you make" is what keeps these guys from running ten packs. Or more.

And trust me.. You see a lot more world class runout/safety play when the wrong side is tied up and your opponent's balls are sitting in front of every hole.

Wow the odds of making 5 balls on break and all being solids or stripes has to astronomical lol

I guess it possible, sort of like drawing a Royal Flush in poker it happens but very rare.

I saw a guy break playing 9 ball once and he made every ball except the 9 and it was hanging it the pocket

When I get a royal flush, I want to get paid,,,not be a huge underdog.

I wanna see packs being run....I want to see miracles, like a set run right out.

Grady and I were always tight...but when he came up with all those rules to slow 9-ball
down, I told him to leave 9-ball alone....it’s fast and furious....you play great 1-hole and
14.1....you don’t need to make other games like it.

That’s how I feel about 8-ball...you miss, you lose
