Anyway, I believe the future needs to move in the direction of tighter pockets or larger tables, or both. And I agree, maybe 15 ball rotation is the answer.
Lies!
Of course, Chines 8 ball or Bonus ball are the answer

This is the AZBilliards forums. There are no solutions, just problems to endlessly debate about.
Because he's being completely destroyed at the break.
Okay have you actually seen Dennis break 10 ball in person? his break isn't weak by any means and it certainly isn't the only chink in his armor.
I really don't like to say, "I told you so", BUT..........I DID. Johnnyt

Shaw has found the sweet spot for his break in the last year or so. SVB found it at least 6 years ago. Give Shaw another year of tournaments and he will be as good as SVB in winning, Johnnyt
Well Johnny, you called this one well on his breaking ability. I give you credit for that.
Shaw has played well on 10 foot tables for a while now. I had watched some of the previous 10 footer matches involving Shaw and I was very impressed. His combination of powerful stroke and long shot-making skills give him an advantage. He seems to be able to reach shots that others can't and his laserlike stroke is perfect for the big table. In my opinion, he is one of the few players who play nearly as well on a 10 footer as he does on a 9.
The time has come for Jayson to take on Shane in a long 10 ball match on a 10 footer. I would love to see that.
