Just noticing he's using a new cue on the turning stone stream. Looks like its made of bacote or something with figure. No Lucasi Hybrid patch either? Seems odd as he's probably one of the more exciting players if they did part ways.
 
Jayson's facebook page (in the about section) does mention Lucasi. Lucasi's FB page mentions him last in November. They would be foolish to drop him.

Spoke with Jayson last night and remembered to ask him about this.

It's correct that he is no longer with Lucasi.

The cue he used to win Turning Stone was a fancy *custom* Meucci.

He expects to complete a sponsorship deal with Meucci and is having them build him some customs made with "special timber" for early this spring.

I heard he is using the Meucci PRO shaft, which is the same one I've mentioned on the forums several times. I use that shaft on my playing cue and it plays good. It is just as low deflection as my Predator 314-2 and it has way more feel. People frown when you mention Meucci, but they know how to make some good stuff.
 
Seems a lot of jumping cue sponsors last few years. Earl not with Cuetec, Alison Fisher is MIA from pool it seems who is/was also with Cuetec, The Kaiser who used a Joss forever is also not with Joss anymore, Dechaine was with Predator for a while, now with OB, Jayson switched.
 
Any photos of his Meucci? I hit balls with that pro shaft yesterday and it played very close to my 314. Not bad at all...just some difference in the taper.

Earl has not been with Cuetec for quite a while now (Maybe 8 years?)

Allison will be competing quite a bit this year, uses OB Cues and is now sponsored by OB. She also has not been with Cuetec for quite a while.

Ralf has been using a Predator since 2007 and Joss prior to that.

Mike was using Predator and switched to around OB this time last year and is also sponsored by OB.

Jayson was using Lucasi for the last couple of years and did recently switch according to posters in this thread. Although last I heard, he was using an OB Cue to Break with :)
