Shaw runs 6 pack on bigfoot!

I think Mark Wilson said on the stream that Shaw's 6-pack was second only to Bustamante's 7-pack one year on the 10-foot table.

Someone can correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe Buste's 7 pack was when it was still the "Fatboy Challenge" and I believe that was on a 9'. I haven't watched it in a while, but I have the match and Buste is absolutely in the zone going all offense and playing super tight position and getting out from everywhere. One of the announcer's says something like "I just can't imagine anyone playing more perfect than this". The announcers are pretty much at a loss for words, they mostly just get real quiet, similar to when people are driving through the heart of the mountains and the scenery keeps getting better...On another note, it sounds like Shaw is still on fire!

I was there in person for the one 2 years prior when Lee Van won it and it was most definitely played on 9' Diamonds at that time. Buste ran the big package in 2011 vs Rafael Martinez. If I remember correctly, they didn't start playing this event on the 10' tables until it was labeled "Bigfoot", but I'm not 100% on that. Maybe it's possible Buste has run a couple 7 packs in the event?

You're correct. We started on 9' tables and when we switched over to the 10' table it was renamed the Bigfoot. Actually it was only the Fatboy for the first two years, then it became the Diamond Ten Ball Challenge for two years and finally the Bigfoot.

Big wow!

My favorite to watch, 10 Ball on a 10' table. Where can I watch it?

Shaw is on fire for sure.

If he didn't have that dry break in rack 11, I feel confident he would've tied Bustamante with the 7 pack. It was awesome to watch & I hope he wins it again.

1st time I saw Jayson play was in 2012 & I said when this kid learns how to play pool the world is in trouble. Well here he is.

Very impressive.

I will admit, I'm not a huge Shaw fan. Not about him as a player or as a person, he's just not a hero to me. I am more of an SVB or Alex guy.

That said, he's a bad bad man on the pool table. I haven't seen him play since the open. I'm going to have to keep my eyes peeled. I agree with the others, I'd love to see him in a long money set again.

Berg won last time. Would he get in the ring again?

Thanks for the confirmation! I thought the name changed, just couldn't remember to what.
