shipping the jelly to az

Sooo...I shouldn't grill the ribs i planned to tonight? I think I am going to be very brave and suffer through it while the meat falls off the bone and into my mouth.

Everyone chooses to either eat meat or don't eat meat. Whatever consequences happen due to either side is their choice. I'm not sure why there is so much arguing about it?

Of course you should and you should enjoy them, excess is the problem. Even on one of the most healthy diets the "Mediterranean" diet, meats and dairy can be found. It is the balance of foods that is important. Life is meant to be enjoyed, in fact, the longer and healthier you live the more there will be to enjoy and isn't that the whole point.

I don't disagree with this at all....gotta find the balance. I just wish hot wings were better for me lol.

They do health screenings every year at my work. Not the ultrasound though. I'd be interested in seeing what I looked like.

I have severe hunger pains if I don't eat meat (fish, chicken, beef). I burn through grains and veggies extremely fast. I'd have to eat that stuff all day. I don't eat pork though, lol. Not because they aren't tasty. I just have a phobia of pigs. The dirty little things creap me out. I'd only eat them if we ran out of cows.
Get it, it will cost you no more the $100.00 it may save your life. The Carotid artery ultrasound should be gotten by every person over say 30, especially if they feel they have not really been taking care of themselves. This weekend there will be a special on CNN. It was preempted last week due to the breaking news but will air this weekend. Please watch it

I agree with you my diet is not what I would advocate for others. I would like to see people just eat a better more balanced diet without meat as the center and stay away from the fast foods. This stuff isn't easy and people have busy lives they have to find a balance they can live with.

There is not an outback in my zipcode or within an hour's drive from here, but my zip code is "all out" of steaks? I think its a scam also! :)

Edit: removing/condensing rest of post down to one line:

Jesus just shut your pie hole, eat what you like, and have the common f*cking decency to let other people do the same without you harassing them.

If you're so concerned with everyone's health and longevity, start a thread about it where it belongs. In NPR, not here.

I didn't start this NPR thread, I just posted to it the same as you. In fact you posted to it before I did.
You should report it if you are so inclined.

This thread made me hungry. Went to Piccolo's (awesome old Italian Steakhouse) for lunch and had an NY strip medium rare. It definately didn't help my health but it did put me in a mild state of euphoria.
