@scott that game you mentioned is like Fargo but with Fargo you break take BIH and shoot till you miss. Each ball is a point but you can switch to rotation at two points per ball but once you switch to rotation you can't change back until the rack is over.
I been playing Fargo two hours every other day for about 6 weeks I still have not gotten board with it, it's a really good dril to sharpen your skills.
Yea, they're similar and Fargo is good too.
I started playing around with 10.5 after I stumbled on Allen's web site. I think I like it better because there is a definite maximum score you're shooting for as opposed to an arbitrary point where you switch to rotation like in Fargo. I think always shooting for that perfect 75 is what helps me stay focused.
