The gunfire erupted shortly after 8 p.m. Birmingham police said the suspect - now identified as Perry - got into an argument with the 58-year-old victim, whose name has not been released. Authorities said Perry and the victim have known each other for years, and often argue about a pool game that happened at least two years ago.

I used to work in North St Louis. An old guy told me one day "you're gonna get shot out here - you the wrong color to be in this neighborhood anyway"

I blew it off as just a drunk guy talking. I saw him a couple times after that and he was okay. Then about six months later he was shooting at a woman and missed the woman but hit a young girl in the neck.
