Shootout in McDonald's stemmed from long-running feud over pool game; elderly suspect

No it isn't.
I had a guy that was a regular at the pool room I went to come up and ask me if I remembered a game that had happened 25 or 30 years ago.
I thought it was pretty weird, because he had only said something about it once, right after it happened, and I thought he understood .
Any way, I told him the same thing I had said 25 or 30 years ago, I don't owe you , Jack does.
By now, Jack has been dead for about 15 years.
He gave me a goofy kind of smile and went on about his business.
A couple of weeks later , they find him in his basement where he had blown his brains out.
Turns out he had cancer and decided to pass on the chemo and cutting.
I still wonder, if I had said something different that day, if he wasn't thinking of taking me with him?
The grand total on this fiasco was $14.00 if I remember correctly.

Maybe you should have covered the $14. No reason to have a 25 year grudge for $14 no matter who's "right".

I didn't mean it was good that someone got shot. From what I've seen on AZ in my short time here, cte has a very staunch group of defenders, always on the prowl for possible anti-cte comments. The defense is often vicious, and the debate does seem to rage on. So I thought Koop's post was funny. No harm, no foul....just kidding around.
