i havent read that it works with 11 balls and by now with the number of tourneys of 11 ball onepocket someone would have mentioned it

How does house make any money on NO ENTRY?

Pool halls make most of their money on alcohol and food

its a different game. better ways to speed up play.

what would a bowling tournament do if a few bowlers just sat in their chairs for a long time or just studied the lanes for minutes before they rolled the ball. make it a game of 5 instead of ten frames. or only put up 5 pins.

or if golfers studied their shots for minutes each time. make it a nine hole. or play from the womens tees.

answer: the t.d. would punish them after a warning. and it would stop.

If they want to run short rack events that is their business. It seems to be working quite well for what they intended. Bodies in the place to spend money . The handicaps have allowed a few lesser players to cash and that is a good thing. Tournaments that flow and allow working stiffs to participate on a week night.

Is there any reason you couldn't rack/break 10 balls and then just spot the first one made?

I've thought about trying that on a bar box if I can't get on a big table...

Well that would be 10 ball one pocket going to 6.
