Was looking in some pawn shops today and came across a plain jane Players butt with a predator z shaft. I really contemplated buying it.....could have had it for $129. I figured it was a good deal but wasnt sure if I would like it or not. Should I have bought it anyway?

Buy it, then hawk it off to someone at the local pool hall. Show him that players cues aren't THAT cheap, and that you should charge him 60 for the butt which is a steal. Then show him how much predator Z shafts cost and charge him 180-200 total and he will feel like it's a steal. 
I thought so, I might have to go back and get it. So what is the big draw with the low deflection shafts? I'm just figuring out what I like in a cue. I went from a whippy Meucci to a more firm McDermott. I know I really like the firmness of the McDermott. Im guessing that the predator shaft would be more firm yet?
its too late i already bought it....jk anytime u can get a preator shaft for 100 bucks its a steal. given it rolls straight and has no dings....or isnt some new foreign knock off with a puma on it or something
