Should I say ISSUE, or Problem

Recently my last batch of MASTER GREEN Chalk has been CRUMBLING and becoming very Unstable after about Half the Cue is used.

The Chalk is stored in a Closed that is Normally about 65-77 Degrees, and NOT HUMID. Any one else having this problem. Anyone got any Fixes for the Problem

CRUMBLING as it when I Chalk up the Chalk wind up all over the Pool Table like someone use a Fine Cheese Grater, and dusted the Pool Table with GREEN Dust.

The First half of the Block works just GREAT????? It is all out of the Same Gross that initially worked FINE????
 
The sleuth asked "should I saY ISsued or proBlem"?

I would think whichever you can spell correctly a greater percentage of the time...

I just ordered a Gross of Master (144) from Muellers I really hope do not have the same problem! :eek:

I am planning another Vacation in a Few Weeks until after the Spoof Santa gets his thing done. FYI there is no Santa Claus Kids, it you Mamma & daddy playing a mean trick on you all with a big lie...:D :D :D :D

This problem with Green Master chalk is a known problem that has been discussed a few times before. Perform a Search to find the previous threads on this topic.

The solution is too switch to using Blue Master chalk.

Bruce, do you save the dust for use later?

Get a new cube!!!!!

Thanks for the TIP, but I like the GREEN (because I see it better on the Tip), and at 18.00 Bucks a Gross it is still cheap....

That's cool. Use the Green chalk if you don't mind cleaning up chalk marks all over the table. :eek:
 
Write to Skip Nemecek owner of Master Chalk. I would think he'd send you a new box, worth an E mail at least.
 
Personally ...

If a cube isn't 1/2 or more full, I won't use it because I do not like my ferrule getting dirty. I prefer new or fairly new chalk and brush it on, not grind it like a lot of players do.

you still can use the peice you just don't "stick" your tip and ferrule deep in the hole of the chalk. you use the edges and swipe around the top and edges of the tip the same way you described. i've always done it this way and all my ferrules are stil clean and clear.
 
Cut the chalk box down as you use it. That also keeps the chalk off your pretty ferrule.
 
I use a pocket chalker. When one side is warn I skin the bottom paper and flip it over. ;) I use brown masters to keep my cue cleaner looking.:cool:

Actually I find the Green easier to clean up than the Blue that is more messy. Time to brush a Table is like 5 Minutes. When the Green is 100% good, it leaves little dust on the table.
 
Jeez. How many chalk threads do we have or need? J/k.

I just bought a gross of the master's blue not too long ago. It's all personal preference, and it is messy on the hands. As long as you're chalking properly and not grinding a crater into the chalk you should be just fine.
